Dalamy fanfic- chapter 8 part 2

-6 weeks later-

Dallas stood in the Sanctuary of the New Emerald Church, to his right was Slash, and behind him was the priest. Nervousness was written across his face, and Slash gripped his shoulder.

"Relax dude, everything'll be fine." he said. It soothed him slightly, but not enough. His only problem was that Sonic was somewhere in the crowd, and his fear was that when the priest asked about objections, that he would object, and give some heart-felt speech that would take Amy away from him. Just then, the organist began to play, and the doors into the chapel opened. Cream came in, wearing a cute white dress with a basket of rose petals, sprinkling them along the aisleway, as Amy proceeded towards the Sanctuary. Dallas hadn't turned around, but he guessed by the stunned silence in the chapel that she looked amazing. Slash nudged him with his elbow, his cue to turn around. When he turned and saw her, his eyeslit up. She was more beautiful than he'd ever seen, in her white wedding dress. She still, however, wore the red jade pendant he'd given her almost a two months ago. She'd  told him, and he believed her, that she hadn't taken it off since he'd given it to her. No one escorted her down the aisle, she simply slowly moved with the music down towards where he was standing. When she was at the steps to the sanctuary, Dallas stepped down, they intertwined their arms, and stepped back into the Sanctuary.

"Shall I begin?" the priest asked.

"Please." the both of them replied. The ceremony went on without a hitch, to Dallas' surprise. After giving their vows.

"By the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." the Priest declared. Amy turned to him, and him to her. There was a split second hesitation, but the two of them kissed passionately. The crowd around them cheered loudly, but neither of them heard a thing, they were so enveloped in kissing each other. Finally, Amy pulled away.

"Let's start our lives together." she said, blushing. Dallas picked her up, and carried her out of the chapel.

"Lets." he replied. He carried her to a limousine, and put her in. the crowed cheered them off.

"To the Airport please." he said.

"Airport?" Amy asked.

"You'll see." Dallas winked at her. She blushed and giggled.
